ET has opened a debate on "Is Premji right to go against job quotas
in Wipro?"
As expected most of the posts agree with him...
Here is someone who put his pt in a very diff way..
I think we should have job reservations in all the fields. I completely support the PM and all the politicians for promoting this.
Let's start the reservation with our cricket team. We should have 10 percent reservation for Muslims. 30 percent for OBC, SC/ST like that. Cricket rules should be modified accordingly. The boundary circle should be reduced for an SC/ST player. The four hit by an OBC player should be considered as a six and a six hit by a OBC player should be counted as 8 runs. An OBC player scoring 60 runs should be declared as a century.
We should influence ICC and make rules so that the pace bowlers like Shoaib Akhtar should not bowl fast balls to our OBC player. Bowlers should bowl maximum speed of 80 kilometer per hour to an OBC player. Any delivery above this speed should be a "No Ball".
Also we should have reservation in Olympics. In the 100 meters race, an OBC player should be given a gold medal if he runs 80 meters.
There can be reservation in Government jobs also. Let's recruit SC/ST and OBC pilots for aircrafts which are carrying the ministers and politicians (that can really help the country...)
Ensure that only SC/ST and OBC doctors do the operations for the ministers and other politicians. (Another way of saving the
country...)
Let's be creative and think of ways and means to guide INDIA forward... Let's show the world that INDIA is a GREAT country.
Let's be proud of being an INDIAN..
May the good breed of politicians like ARJUN SINGH long live...

My First flight !!!
Should sound quiet surprising to find that this is a ( Shhh !!! ) year’s first flight. J
True ! Though I had many opportunities to fly home I never opted for it, probably just to wait for my Venkat ( introducing my sweetheart husband ) to take me for my first flight.
It all actually started with a bitter quarrel. I was screaming at him for not booking our return tickets earlier in bus or train ….. “Even first class AC would have cost less” – was my point. My parents were giving an exasperated look meaning “You are wasting money unnecessarily”, while my in-laws were indifferent ( yeah ! they know him more than us ). He did nothing more than standing rooted there, silently looking past my eyes, holding the e-tickets for Indian Airlines ( that too …. Indian Airlines because Deccan was full and Jet Airways not at our convenience ) Tuesday morning flight ( or early morning ?? 6:15 AM , left to you to decide ) of course as usual putting that “baby” long face.
For those who have watched “Shrek II”, he does it better than “Puss in Boots” J
We entered into the moderately cool Chennai Airport happily relieved from the sultry Chennai climate. He was as messy as possible as usual. The tag put for the cabin luggage was immediately torn, the sticker put after luggage screen was torn to bits ( he says he din know how ). But then, there were no issues and we boarded the flight. They were playing some somber “Indian style” music …… best described as play back music coming in the old age TV serial “Ramayana”, in which Seetha devi would emerge out of the hut ( during the 14 years vanvas ), brushing her loooooong hair with her fingers, giving a affectionate / shy look at her husband Rama ( cleaning his bow like cleaning a Gun ) and standing there for almost half hour ( till that episode ends ) ( of course not to forget the dears running around, birds chirping and flying …… ) …… and I heard Venkat say, “Now I know why not many travel by Indian Airlines”
Time to take off …….
Venkat is working in aerospace technology, so kept on explaining about the aerodynamics, wings / velocity / lift ( proportional it seems ), cabin pressure control ( his latest project ) ……
I indeed enjoyed the sensation at the bottom of my stomach during the take off. Enjoyed watching the buildings and houses, water and land growing smaller and smaller …… smaller than my toy “City” – believe me, I do have one with small temple, houses and trees ……
And then …… we were above the clouds ….. and I was “above cloud 9”. This was when I started complaining about two things
The windows being too small and placed inappropriate ( not able to enjoy the view without leaning forward or backward )
The flight moving sooo slow ….. I infact told him “Tell them to let me down ….. I will walk fast fast to Bangalore”
His laughter brought a puzzled stewardess ….. “Sir, can I help you ?”, he said “No….ha ha ha…ah ha ha ….. nobody can …. Ha ha “
Breakfast was delicious – because I was flying for the first time J
And then when tea was served I complained “It is like Volvo bus last seat ….. tea cup shaking !!!” – it is the turbulence I meant.
To much of Venkat’s ( and yours too ) relief, we landed back home, me smiling ear to ear and not ready to stop talking about the flight experience …… still not ready to stop talking ………

It's actually the Starter again ......
Back from the long slumber over almost an year now. And (r)Oops !!! forgot my old blog password.
So thought why not start afresh ..........
For all those who know me a little and a little more .....
Got much to write about this pretty young ( ok almost ) girl, just that the clause"little mini-biography makes yourself presentable" brings me down. Wouldn't be out of place if I claim myself as a "Perfect I Personality", a mediocre in knowledge quest and personal upgradation - actually am too happy with myself. Love music and just cant stop singing - involuntary action. Just married ( long back ) and not ready to come out of the honeymoon phase still ....Only, pampered, mommey's daughter.Still fascinated 'how different people are'.....And thatz why thought why not talk to few more kinds of them ! What say ???
